Is the chalet really bike-in \/ bike-out?<\/p>\n

Yes \u2014 you set off straight from the chalet onto the trails, with the Les Crosets gondola 100 m away. No car transfer, no logistics. Secure bike room, washing station and repair workshop on site.<\/p>\n

What does the Bike HotellerieSuisse certification offer?<\/p>\n

Our Bike Hotel label guarantees: a secure room with e-bike sockets, a washing station, a repair kit, clothes drying, personalised route advice and facilities tailored to mountain bikers.<\/p>\n

I don’t have an MTB, do you rent on site?<\/p>\n

We work with local partners for MTB & e-MTB rental (from CHF 65\/day). Booking ahead is recommended in high season. We’ll handle the introduction.<\/p>\n

When is the best season for MTB?<\/p>\n

The MTB season in the Portes du Soleil runs from May to October. The ideal window is June to September, with all 5 bike parks open (Les Crosets, Morzine, Ch\u00e2tel, Avoriaz, Les Gets) and the full 600 km of trails accessible.<\/p>\n

What exactly does half-board include?<\/p>\n

Every day: a sports-oriented buffet breakfast + a 3-course dinner. An MTB-friendly picnic is available on request for long rides.<\/p>\n

Waymarked loops from 5 to 40 km right at the foot of the chalet. From rolling base-endurance runs on the alpine pastures to hill sessions on the Dents du Midi. Route notes and personalised advice according to your level and the weather.<\/p>\n

Do you prepare energy baskets?<\/p>\n

Yes \u2014 calibrated sports baskets on request (to take with you or collect on your return). Ideal for long trail outings. Add a note when booking so we can tailor the contents.<\/p>\n

Can you help me prepare for a race?<\/p>\n

Chalet Montriond is an ideal base camp for regional races: Trail des Dents du Midi, X-Alpine, Trail Verbier-St-Bernard. Accommodation tailored to before\/after the race, meal timing, and logistics advice.<\/p>\n

Is the sauna included for recovery?<\/p>\n

Yes \u2014 free access to the sauna at the end of the day, perfect after a big outing. Plus a south-facing terrace for stretching and recovery in the sun.<\/p>\n
