Les Crosets, the heart of the estate<\/h2>\n\n

At an altitude of 1,670 m, the village of Les Crosets is literally the hub of the Portes du Soleil<\/strong>. The chairlift takes you in four directions: Champ\u00e9ry and Champoussin on the Swiss side, Morgins via the upper slopes, and Avoriaz, Ch\u00e2tel and Morzine on the French side. It all starts here. Everything comes back to that.<\/p>\n\n

Four directions, one starting point…<\/h3>\n\n

From Chalet Montriond in Les Crosets, two chairlifts (Crosets and Mossettes) provide access to almost the entire mountain-biking area. In just a few minutes, you’ll be on the Champ\u00e9ry side for the bike park trails, on the Champoussin side for the mountain pastures, on the Morgins side for Ch\u00e2tel – or on the Avoriaz side for riding in France and back down to Morzine.<\/p>\n\n

For electric mountain bikes, it’s the perfect base. You set off again with full batteries, without having to push on the last hill. And in between, more than 50 free recharging points<\/strong> are dotted around the mountain pastures and resort villages.<\/p>\n\n

Above it all: the jagged silhouette of the Dents du Midi<\/strong>, rising to 3,257 m. You can hardly take your eyes off them.<\/p>\n\n

Six destinations, one departure.<\/strong> From Les Crosets, you can reach Champ\u00e9ry, Champoussin, Morgins, Avoriaz, Ch\u00e2tel and Morzine without a shuttle bus. Everything is connected, everything is bikeable.<\/p>\n\n

The Dents du Midi around every bend.<\/strong> The emblematic massif of the Lower Valais hardly ever leaves your side. It’s a setting that makes all the difference on every outing.<\/p>\n\n

More than 50 terminals on the estate.<\/strong> Free recharging stations in mountain pastures, resort villages and refreshment stands. Meal break = full battery to get going again.<\/p>\n\n

Four loops – departure from Chalet Montriond<\/h2>\n\n

No transfer, no shuttle: at Chalet Montriond, you just hop on your bike and off you go. Here are four emblematic loops, all of which start at Le Chalet – most of which can be ridden on electric, classic or gravel mountain bikes, depending on your level and desires, and we still have some twenty other routes to offer….<\/p>\n\n

Blue – Discovery – Leaving from Chalet Montriond<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Quiet ascent on electric assistance to Lac Vert and then Lac de Ch\u00e9sery (2,020 m). Break at the Ch\u00e9sery refreshment station (recharging point), return via the Pas de Ch\u00e9sery. The ideal half-day tour of the estate. Suitable for mountain bikes and gravel.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n
