Morning in Geneva: panoramic bus tour, photo stops at the Jet d’Eau and Old Town, lunch on your own or as a group by reservation. Optional French-speaking guided tour (on quote). Morning cable car from Col du Pillon (negotiated group rate) up to 3,000 m. Peak Walk and 360° panoramic restaurant. Very accessible — no physical effort required. Return to the chalet in early afternoon, light lunch, coach departure according to your schedule.

Allotment, release dates, vouchers, accessibility, drivers: our answers to the technical questions you most frequently ask.

From how many people does the group rate apply?

The group rate applies from 15 people with single voucher. Beyond 40 personnes, we offer negotiable privatization conditions (up to 50 pax = entire chalet).

For petits groupes (8-14 people), we apply a “mini-group” rate on quote with personalized service.

How does allotment and release conditions work?

For annual framework contracts with recurring dates: allotment signed at the start of the season, release at J-45 with no penalty.

For firm options one-off: release at J-21 with no penalty, D-21 to D-7 = 30% of the package, < D-7 = 100%.

All conditions are specified in the annual framework contract negotiated individually based on your forecasted volume.

Does the driver get a complimentary room? And meals?

Yes. 1 complimentary single room for the driver from 25 paying passengers, in line with industry practice.

The driver meals at the chalet (breakfast and dinner) are included in the package. Lunches are by reservation at preferential rates on excursion days.

A dedicated rest area (TV, wifi, kitchenette) is available for mandatory break times.

Do you accept centralized voucher billing?

Yes. We commonly work with single vouchers, centralized invoicing to your agency or TO, payment at 30 days end of month to a Swiss (CHF) or European (EUR) bank account.

Possible deposits: 30% on confirmation, balance at D-15 or on post-stay invoicing depending on your internal policy.

VAT number and complete bank details provided upon contract signing.

Are there fees for full privatization?

Full privatization of the chalet is included for free when your group occupies all available rooms (40 to 50 pax depending on configurations).

For smaller groups that still want exclusivity, a privatization supplement is applied (calculated on the lost revenue from unoccupied rooms) — negotiable outside peak season.

Is bus parking free and secure for 5 days?

Oui — free and secure bus parking on site for the entire duration of your group’s stay. No costly transfers, no parallel logistics.

The parking is lit at night, video-monitored, and accessible 24/7 for your driver. 230V electric charging available on request for onboard equipment (fridge, etc.).

What equipment for reduced mobility / accessibility?

The chalet has elevator serving all floors, level terrace access, and lounges accessible to people with reduced mobility.

2 wheelchair-accessible rooms are available (adapted bathroom, walk-in shower, grab bars). Must be booked well in advance due to limited availability.

Wheelchair-accessible restaurant, table service (no buffet). All excursion itineraries are selected for their accessibility.

What languages does the team speak for German-speaking groups?

Our team is fluent in French, English and German. All materials (menus, briefings, vouchers, driver roadbook) are available in these 3 languages.

For Swiss German or German groups, we can provide a German-speaking host for the welcome and the briefing.

Can the menus be customized?

Yes — the menus are customizable before the stay based on your clientele:

• Regional cuisine Valais (raclette, half-half fondue, cheese gratin, dried meat)
• Seasonal cuisine classic 3-course
• Folk evening with traditional menu (alphorn, optional accordion)
• Special diets : salt-free, gluten-free, diabetic, vegetarian, halal (on request at confirmation)

Valais wine list (Fendant, Petite Arvine, Cornalin) available, tasting possible on the arrival evening.

Is the chalet open to groups in winter?

No — during the ski season (November to April), the chalet is dedicated to individual Portes du Soleil clientele. Winter logistics (snow parking, access) do not allow us to host coach groups.

We welcome groups only from May to October, the ideal period for coach tours in French-speaking Switzerland (mild temperatures, regional events, vineyards, blooming alpine meadows).
